Staffline is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for a Registered Staff Nurse to join the nursing team at their Care Home in Magherafelt. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents in a supportive and professional care-home environment.
The Role
As a Registered Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high standards of nursing care in line with NMC, RQIA, HSCT, and regulatory requirements
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing individualised care plans
- Administering medication safely and accurately
- Making clinical decisions using professional judgement
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date resident records
- Supporting and guiding care staff
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Promoting a safe, supportive environment that enhances residents' quality of life
Essential Criteria
- Registered Nurse qualification (RGN, RMN, or RNLD)
- Active NMC registration
- Previous nursing experience within Northern Ireland (essential)
- Knowledge of elderly care, care planning, and primary nursing
- Understanding of RQIA, HSCT, and health & safety standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Right to work in the UK
- Medically fit for role
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in a nursing or care-home setting
- Team leadership or management experience
