An established and growing engineering business is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to work on a varied portfolio of commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
The Role Design low-voltage electrical systems for a range of building projects.
Produce electrical layouts, schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.
Carry out cable sizing, load assessments, fault level studies, and lighting calculations.
Work closely with clients, architects, consultants, and project teams.
Attend design meetings and site visits as required.
Provide technical support throughout project delivery and commissioning.
The Person Degree or HND qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical design.
Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations and industry standards.
Proficient in Auto CAD and electrical design software.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience with Amtech, Dialux, Relux, Revit MEP, Trimble, or similar software.
Knowledge of renewable energy technologies including solar PV, EV charging, and battery storage.
BIM experience.
Membership of a professional engineering institution or working towards Chartered/Incorporated Engineer status.
