Job Opportunity: Team Lead Domiciliary Care (Ref: W/TL/LS/09)

Temporary 6-Month FTC with possible extension

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

£25,951.85 plus mileage & benefits

Job Purpose:

  • Primarily field-based in Waterside, Cityside, Limavady & Strabane areas as required.
  • Arrange initial visits to service user homes and completion of Service User Agreements along with the completion of risk assessments for and with service users.
  • Contribute to the ongoing assessment and review of need of each service user.
  • Undertake and complete Quality Annual Monitoring visits with each service user.
  • Check service user satisfaction by regular telephone contact.
  • Deputise with the management of the day-to-day operations in the absence of the Service Manager.
  • Carry out spot checks with staff and report outcomes to service manager.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 18 months paid experience supporting older people in a domiciliary/social care setting.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
  • Full driving licence and access to a car.
  • Ability to provide on-call support to Care Workers outside of office hours.
