Our client, a leading manufacturing company is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect & Automation Specialist to support the delivery and continuous improvement of a regional operational services programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable solutions that enhance operational performance across multiple sites and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply a solution architecture and systems-thinking approach to identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and workflow efficiencies.
- Design and develop automated business processes using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation concepts to improve reporting, productivity, and operational effectiveness.
- Support the ongoing development and optimisation of regional operational support functions through process refinement and enhanced digital capabilities.
- Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools using Power BI to support informed decision-making.
- Lead communication, training, and user adoption activities for new systems, tools, and processes.
Essential Experience
- Experience delivering solution design, process improvement, or automation initiatives within a complex business environment.
- Strong systems-thinking capability with the ability to understand impacts across functions, platforms, and stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with: Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience developing automated workflows and digital solutions.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, including KPI development and reporting.
- Understanding of database concepts; SQL knowledge would be advantageous.
- Experience using Smartsheet or equivalent project management tools.
