This permanent opportunity is ideal for an experienced Panel Wirer, Electrical Panel Builder or Electrical Assembly Technician seeking long-term career progression within a leading manufacturing environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for the electrical wiring and mechanical assembly of LV/MV switchgear and control panels, ensuring high-quality, safety-critical builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical wiring of switchgear and control panels
- Mechanical assembly of electrical components
- Reading and working from engineering drawings and schematic diagrams
- Building and fitting LV/MV assemblies
- Panel testing, including current injection testing
- Fault-finding and ensuring accurate electrical connections
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or Electrical Panel Builder
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
- Experience in LV/MV switchgear assembly
- Mechanical assembly experience within manufacturing
- Electrical testing and troubleshooting experience
- Onsite installation or field service experience desirable
