This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Assembler seeking a permanent role within a high-quality engineering and manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will support the mechanical assembly of electrical switchgear and electro-mechanical systems, ensuring precision, quality and safety throughout the build process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical assembly of switchgear and electro-mechanical systems
- Working from engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Fitting, building and assembling components for new and repeat products
- Identifying and reporting non-conforming or defective products
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Assembler
- Experience within manufacturing or engineering environments
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Skilled in using engineering hand tools and workshop equipment
