The Role
Working as part of a highly skilled maintenance team, you'll be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery and equipment. You'll work closely with production teams to diagnose faults, improve machine performance and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime
- Support machine upgrades and continuous improvement projects
- Maintain maintenance records and spare parts inventory
- Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures
- Support the development and training of colleagues where required
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics and control systems
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
