We are working with a leading business in their industry who are seeking a Junior Buyer to join their expanding and growing team. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with previous experience in Procurement & Supply Chain to develop their skills and progress their career.

Role:

  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing construction materials, plant, and equipment in line with project requirements
  • Raise and process purchase orders accurately using internal procurement systems
  • Support senior buyers and procurement managers with day-to-day purchasing activities
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics
  • Work to ensure all supplier invoices are cleared for payment in a timely manner to maintain the high level of positive supplier relations expected by the company
  • Other adhoc duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a procurement or supply chain role
  • Previous experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to work under pressure
