Clearway Disposals are Ireland's largest scrap exporter, operating state-of-the-art metal recycling facilities across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We are currently seeking a professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team in our Lisahally facility.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a range of vehicles as part of our recycling and logistics operations. This includes: 14T Tilt & Slide vehicles, 18T Skip Loaders, 32T Hook Loaders.

Location: Clearway Disposals: Lisahally Derry -- travel to other sites may be required.

Responsible To: Site Management

Essential criteria:

  • Valid professional driving licence up to and including Class 1 C + E
  • Valid driver CPC card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Comply with the requirements of Clearway Disposals Operator License
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all vehicles that you have responsibility for
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills is required for the post with the ability to respond to queries in a professional manner

Terms and conditions:

  • Length of Contract: Permanent
  • Salary: £14.60 per hour (weekly paid)
  • Discretionary Christmas bonus payment
  • Hours: 40 Hours per week (Mon-Fri) you may be required to work additional hours from time to time which will be paid at an enhanced rate
  • Holidays: 20 Annual Days (pro-rata) + 9 Statutory days
