Global Manufacturer require a Stress Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer with FEA/Stress Engineer experience. You will deliver new concepts. As a Mechanical Engineer you'll carry out Stress Engineer duties using FEA to validate designs, analyse materials, problem-solve and write reports. Extensive benefits package, including generous holidays and working hours. Strong graduates considered.

The Role:

  • Test and validate designs
  • Carry out structural analysis / FEA
  • Liaise closely with in-house manufacturing/engineering departments
  • Carry out market research on concepts & design reviews
  • Ensure new products meet regulations
  • Solve problems and investigate failures

The Person:

  • Engineering degree, or excellent experience to replace this
  • Ability to problem-solve and provide creative and logical solutions
  • Experience of stress projects and deadlines, FEA analysis within a manufacturing environment
  • Well organised with good document management and IT skills
