Your new company is a leading manufacturing organisation in Lisburn seeking a Quality Engineer to join its expanding team. Your new role involves supporting the Manufacturing Quality Manager and working closely with production teams to enhance operational performance and ensure consistent product quality. You will play a key role in developing quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and supporting problem-solving activities across the manufacturing and assembly.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 1 year's quality or engineering experience; or an HNC/HND with 2+ years' relevant experience; or 3+ years' experience in a Quality Engineering or engineering role.
  • Experience using continuous improvement and problem-solving tools (3C, 8D, A3, PFMEA, APQP, process mapping).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A logical, detail-focused approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in modular manufacturing or construction.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
