Our client has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service across the construction and industrial sectors. With ambitious plans for continued growth, they are seeking an organised, proactive, and customer-focused professional to become the central point of coordination across the business. This is a varied and hands-on role that sits at the heart of the organisation.
Working closely with the sales and operations teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while supporting finance, purchasing, logistics, and customer service activities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day administration and smooth running of the office
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, delivering a professional and responsive service
- Manage the sales and purchase ledgers using Sage 50, ensuring accuracy across daily financial administration
- Process customer orders, invoices, and related documentation efficiently and accurately
- Support purchasing activities and liaise with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to support the efficient fulfilment of customer orders
- Work collaboratively with sales, operations, customers, and suppliers to ensure the business continues to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Previous experience in an Office Manager, Senior Administrator, Accounts Assistant, or similar operational role
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a positive and professional approach
- A proactive, hands-on attitude with the ability to take ownership and continually improve processes
