An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Executive to join a growing organisation within the engineering and infrastructure sector. This role is ideal for someone with strong purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to continuous improvement across finance processes.

Duties:
- Complete supplier reconciliations
- Process monthly supplier payments
- Assist with the implementation of new systems, including SICON
- Reconcile nominal ledgers to P&L and balance sheet, investigating variances
- Produce commercial reports, including aged creditors and payment reports
- Support KPI reporting and help enhance weekly and monthly reporting processes
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts
- Gather documentation and submit Intrastat reports to HMRC
- Post invoices on SAGE 200 and resolve supplier queries efficiently
- Provide payroll processing cover when required
- Undertake additional duties as required within the finance function
Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally within the purchase ledger
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Strong organisational skills with a disciplined approach to work
- Adaptable and keen to work in a growing, evolving business environment
