We are working with an innovative engineering and technology business seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join its growing R&D team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys taking ownership of complex hardware designs and working across the full product development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through to testing, validation and manufacture.

The Role

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of advanced electronic products, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust, high-quality solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading electronics design projects from requirements through to production release
  • Designing and developing complex PCB-based hardware
  • Supporting schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up and verification activities
  • Conducting fault-finding, debugging and performance analysis
  • Collaborating with software, mechanical and manufacturing teams
  • Contributing to design reviews, technical documentation and product validation
  • Supporting the transition of new products into manufacture
  • Mentoring junior engineers where required

About You

Applicants should possess:

  • Proven experience delivering electronic hardware products from concept to manufacture
  • Strong PCB design and schematic capture experience
  • Solid understanding of high-speed digital and mixed-signal design principles
  • Experience of power supply and power management design
  • Strong fault-finding and debugging capabilities
  • Experience using laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analysers
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment
  • Experience in regulated industries, advanced product development, embedded systems, FPGA technologies, or high-reliability electronics would be advantageous.
