We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to support pharmaceutical development and technical operations projects across the product lifecycle. The role will lead and contribute to pre-formulation, formulation development, manufacturing process development and packaging activities, supporting both development-stage and commercial pharmaceutical and drug-device combination products, in line with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support formulation, process and packaging development activities.
  • Support manufacture of clinical and registration batches, including scale-up and technical transfer.
  • Provide technical support to commercial products and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support analytical method development, with a focus on physical and mechanical testing.
  • Prepare development documentation, risk assessments, batch records and technical reports.
  • Support compilation of Product Specification Files and Design Files for drug-device products.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, Regulatory and Clinical teams.
  • Represent Technical Operations in internal and external meetings.

Essential Criteria

  • Masters degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience in pharmaceutical formulation and/or analysis.
  • Strong understanding of formulation development, ICH guidelines and Quality by Design.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
  • Or are on course to achieve a Masters degree in the fields mentioned by September 2026.

Desirable Criteria

  • GMP experience, formulation development of dosage forms, equipment qualification experience, and use of statistical software.
