VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a leading professional services firm to appoint a Senior Manager to join its highly regarded International Corporate Tax Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced international tax professional to take on a pure advisory position, working with major UK and international businesses on complex cross-border tax matters, M&A and international tax strategy. You'll join an established, high-performing team with an excellent reputation in the market and significant opportunities for continued growth and progression.

The Role

As Senior Manager, you will play a key role in advising multinational businesses on a broad range of complex international tax issues. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and experienced tax professionals, providing commercially focused advice that helps clients navigate an increasingly complex international tax environment. The role offers considerable exposure to high-value and high-profile advisory projects, including international expansion, M&A and business restructuring.

What You Will Do

Lead the delivery of technically complex international corporate tax advisory projects, ensuring high-quality and commercially focused outcomes. Advise multinational businesses on international tax strategy and cross-border issues. Provide advice across areas including CFCs, anti-hybrid rules, loan relationships, intellectual property and Pillar 2. Support clients with M&A deal structuring, pre-transaction reorganisations and post-transaction integration.

Advise on legal structure rationalisation, operating model redesign and international expansion. Support the optimisation of capital structures, financing arrangements and intellectual property ownership. Help clients understand and manage the tax implications of significant global legislative and regulatory change. Build strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and identify opportunities to develop existing relationships. Contribute to business development activity and play an active role in winning new work.

Work collaboratively with UK and international teams to identify and deliver opportunities for clients. Lead, coach and mentor junior members of the team, supporting their technical and professional development. Take responsibility for the successful delivery and financial management of client engagements.

What's in It for You

Join a market-leading international corporate tax advisory team. Work with some of the largest UK and international businesses on complex, high-profile assignments. Gain significant exposure to international tax strategy, M&A and cross-border advisory. Work alongside highly regarded tax Partners and experienced international tax professionals. A genuinely advisory-focused position, rather than a compliance-led role. Excellent opportunities to build your profile as a leading international tax adviser. A collaborative, high-performing environment with a strong focus on learning and development. Opportunity to develop your leadership, client management and business development experience. Exposure to a broad range of sectors, clients and technically challenging projects. Join a growing team at an exciting time for the international tax market.

Requirements

Strong UK corporate tax technical knowledge, with experience relevant to international and cross-border matters. Experience across areas such as CFCs, anti-hybrid rules, loan relationships, intellectual property and/or Pillar 2. Previous experience delivering complex corporate tax advisory projects.
