VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading Public Sector employer based in Ballymena in their recruitment of an Interim Accountant. This is initially an interim contract role for a period of 6 months and will work closely with the wider finance team with a focus on specialist projects centralised around cost reduction initiatives. This role will work closely with non-finance staff, understanding significant drivers and preparing & presenting reports to senior management.
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to interact with non-finance staff
- Strong MS Excel capabilities

What you'll do
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, ensuring accuracy
- Analyse large volumes of financial data to identify trends, anomalies and insights that support business decisions
- Maintain and improve data management systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
- Support in delivering month end reporting
- Project accounting
