If this sounds like you, we welcome you to apply for the position of Events Steward at the five-star Culloden Estate & Spa. You will support our team at a variety of events and functions offered to our guests such as weddings, business conferences, and private gatherings, delivering an exceptional standard of service.
You can expect to be offered a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends, which may include later hours for events such as weddings. Some typical shifts include 6pm-2am, 10am-6pm, and 2pm-10pm. The rate of pay for these casual positions is £9.55 to £12.75 per hour depending on your age.

About The Role
- To serve and assist guests attending a wide variety of events in the Hotel, and support other areas when required such as the bar and restaurant.
- To provide the highest standard of service to guests, ensuring all guest needs and expectations are met.
- To be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the hotel and to be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
- To set up function and meeting rooms in accordance with guest requirements and Hastings standards.
- To ensure that function rooms and guest areas are maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
- To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
- To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect.
- To ensure that any issues are dealt with courteously and in an efficient manner, or escalated to the Manager on Duty when required.
- Any other duties as required by management.
Required Criteria
- Right to Work in the United Kingdom
