When we work together, we can do amazing things. We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic people to assist our Bar Team at the Cultra Inn on the grounds of the 5-star Culloden Estate & Spa.

Supported by the Inn Manager, Gary Moran, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills, and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality. You may be offered a variety of shifts depending on business needs and we expect these positions to be required for the summer season. The rate of pay for this casual work is £10.95-£12.75 per hour depending on your age. Please note that due to licensing laws you will need to be 18 or over to work as a Bar Tender.

About The Role

  • To be responsible for the presentation of the bar and the service of beverages and snacks for greatest enjoyment of our guests.
  • To maintain the cleanliness of service areas according to Hastings Standards.
  • To serve beverages to guests ensuring the highest standard of service and that all guest needs and expectations are met.
  • Typical tasks include, bar stocks, serving food and beverages, taking orders and taking payments.
  • Greeting guests and responding to their queries in a courteous and professional manner.
  • To ensure all cash, charges, floats and till procedures are carried out correctly.
  • To use equipment and bar pumps efficiently, to maintain proper measures and ensure minimum wastage.
  • To always maintain the security of stock areas, immediately reporting any breaches.
  • To be knowledgeable about the offerings available at the Cultra Inn and wider Culloden Estate and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
  • To ensure that guest concerns are dealt with politely and efficiently, reporting them to the manager on duty.
  • To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
  • To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
  • Any other duties as required by management.
