HGV/LGV Driver - Belfast City Council

Belfast City Council are seeking two reliable and experienced HGV/LGV drivers to join their team at the Duncrue Industrial complex, Belfast. This is a full-time temporary position for initially 3 months with possibility of an extension based on job performance. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 7.30am 3.30pm and Friday 7.30am hourly rate of pay will be £13.91 Key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Driving council vehicles in a safe and responsible manner Assisting with the collection of household waste Loading vehicles and supervising operatives Carrying out street cleaning duties Performing maintenance task such as clearing gutters and drains Engaging with members of the council, representing the Council This is a great opportunity to contribute to the City whilst gaining valuable experience working in a dynamic working environment.
