JOB VACANCY HGV Drivers: Category \'C\' Ref: HGV/AM/06/25 / Permanent / Full Time Hours: AM Shift (05:30 start) Monday-Friday Base Location: Duncrue Street, Belfast We are currently looking for HGV Drivers (C) to join our busy teams at our site in Duncrue Street, Belfast. As a Driver you will be required to complete multi drop deliveries and collections throughout NI. The Driver will also be required to collect and move commercial containers when required. As a day shift driver, you will , Monday to Friday, with Saturdays required, on a rota basis. Roles & Responsibilities -Ensure excellent customer service skills that support the RiverRidge Brand -Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times -Complete vehicle checks in line with Operating licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport Office (both electronically and verbally) -Follow all regulations relating to driver\'s hours and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles -Working collaboratively with the transport team to ensure excellent operational service is maintained, and continually improved -Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) -Undertake all necessary training, & cooperate with the security clearance process as required -Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department Essential Criteria -Must hold a valid HGV licence - Category \'C\', -Must hold a Digital Tachograph card and Full Driver CPC -Full UK Driving Licence (Max of 6 penalty points) -Minimum of 6 months HGV driving experience -Ability to undertake manual work -Flexible approach to working hours is required in relation to finish times, weekends, and bank holidays -Excellent customer service skills -Team Player -Good Communication skills (both verbal and written) -Good Knowledge of driver\'s hours, rules, and regulations Desirable Criteria -Minimum of 1 year\'s HGV driving experience -Previous experience working in the waste industry * Any offer of employment will be subject to a successful driving assessment and obtaining any necessary security clearances as deemed applicable for the post.
