HGV 1 Driver- Days & Nights (Rotational monthly shifts) Our client, a large logistics company based in Belfast are currently hiring a HGV 1 Driver to operate their class 1 & 2 Lorries transporting materials from site to site across NI. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road but needs more fixed hours for a better work/ life balance. Our client prioritises their staff wellbeing and ensures all employees feel part of a team leading to great reviews from their long term employees. Position: HGV 1 Driver Location: Belfast Duration: Permanent Salary: Dayshift rate £14.82 – £16.53 per hour+ Overtime Hours of Work: Dayshift/ Nightshift- rotational on a monthly basis Dayshift: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm Nightshift: Monday to Thursday 8pm to 6am Duties will include (but not be limited to): * Transporting large goods to and from various sites across NI * Working with a large aerospace company providing logistics & transport solutions business to business across NI. * Assisting with loading & offloading of aerospace parts * Shunting aerospace parts to various sites within the yard * Adhering to all health & safety procedures as set out by the business Essential Criteria: * Valid UK Clean category C+E Driving Licence * Minimum of 1 year experience * Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Desirable Criteria: * Previous experience moving oversized loads Ashton Recruitment is acting as a Recruitment Agency.
