This is a proactive role which requires a focused, motivated and confident individual who will be required to identify and develop new business opportunities, in conjunction with the field sales teams, using lead generation prospecting tools.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifying potential leads for the sales & specification team via Glenigan, news articles, LinkedIn etc.
- Contacting relevant professionals such as Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and other key decision makers.
- Ensuring the data added to the CRM system is of high quality, kept up to date and meets the company's requirements.
- Identifying and submitting pricing for key products from tender enquiries received, bill of quantities (BOQs) and working drawings etc.
- Submitting pricing using formal quotes and responding to enquiries within set deadlines.
- Provide daily direct support to the external sales teams & liaise with Heads of Sales and Regional Sales Managers as and when required.
- Organising sample requests in a professional manner for specifiers, contractors and stockist customers.
- Any other duties and tasks commensurate with the role and/or as required by your manager and within capabilities.
CRITERIA:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above (including Maths and English)
- At least 1 year's experience in using a CRM system or equivalent
- At least 1 year's administration experience in a busy sales office.
- Proficient in MS Office with a good working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
