We are hiring for our client, a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor, who is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to take on a technically varied role across roads, drainage, utilities, and site development projects.
The successful Site Engineer will provide technical and supervisory support, working closely with Contracts Managers, Site Foremen, and statutory bodies to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

- Carry out setting out, levelling, and surveying using total stations, GPS, and site levels
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure design compliance
- Monitor progress, coordinate subcontractors, and support measurement of works
- Ensure strict compliance with SHEQ systems, method statements, and site inductions
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and statutory agencies including NI Water and NIE
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 2+ years' site engineering experience in civil/groundworks (roads, drainage, utilities preferred)
- Proficient in surveying equipment, AutoCAD, and MS Office
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid CSR card (essential) and full driving licence
