Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and commission Mallaghan Ground Support Equipment.
- Maintain and service our product range.
- Fix any problems that are within warranty.
- Report any warranty issues back to the office.
- Provide supervisory and technical support to colleagues and communicate with staff at all levels.
- Ensure that guidelines and standards of work expected by Mallaghan are understood and met.
- Ensure that follow-up work requirements are referred back to the appropriate staff within Mallaghan to enable necessary action and recommendations to clients.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times, consistent with client and company expectations, and in doing so help to promote the image of the Company.
- Set a good example to colleagues by observing and obeying all company rules and regulations, complying with all site regulations, and safeguarding Company property.
- Complete all necessary Company documentation punctually and in accordance with any guidelines or schedules issued (including Time Sheets, Staff Expense Claims, site reports, etc.).
- Attend all training courses and meetings as required by Mallaghan.
- Provide support and co-operation to the management and to colleagues, and be prepared and willing to help and contribute to the success of the company at all times.
- Observe and adhere to company health & safety guidelines and contribute to a healthy and safe working environment.
- Adhere to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.
- Maintain a clean and tidy works area.
Personal Specification:
- Proven technical competence and experience with equipment maintenance.
- The ability to read and interpret technical documents such as engineering documents, operation and maintenance instructions.
- Previous experience of working within a service organisation.
- Relevant industry experience or experience from a similar industry and ability to learn new systems.
- Proven literacy and numeracy skills.
- Qualified in an engineering or IT discipline, or hands-on engineering experience in electro-mechanical engineering.
- Able to communicate problems/issues to all team members.
- Ability to work on their own or as part of a team.
- Ability to adjust to change e.g. job machine/process.
- Ability to fault find, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues.
- Comply with quality regulations & standards, attention to detail.
- Clean current driving license.
- Available to work flexible hours when required with notice.
