An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and innovative Senior R&D Engineer to join a dynamic engineering environment. This role focuses on leading the design and development of new products, managing projects from concept through to installation, and supporting business growth through technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage design projects from initial concept through development, build support, and final installation
- Develop and introduce new products aligned with business growth and profitability objectives
- Work closely with sales teams to provide technical specifications, site support, and expert advice
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to drive innovation and improve processes
- Produce project status reports to support financial, operational, and sales planning
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure effective engineering design integration
- Review, check, and approve technical drawings in line with established procedures
- Resolve design issues and implement effective engineering solutions
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are achieved
- Support and mentor Design Engineers, providing training on processes and best practices
