My client is seeking an experienced quality inspector to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a well-established business. The right candidate should have a proven track record of implementing quality standards and procedures.

Duties:
- Implement and maintain QMS documentation and document control.
- Implement effective QMS processes in conjunction with operating staff.
- Maintain QMS processes such as audits (internal and external), supplier qualification, change control, non-conforming product and corrective and preventive action systems.
- Compile, assess and monitor ongoing quality tracking metrics to help drive efficiency and continual improvement.
- Schedule and carry out routine quality control tests/checks.
- Carry out internal inspections at all stages of WIP & Finished goods to customer specifications.
- Train staff in new and existing quality procedures, including Induction and Corrective Action training.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding issues relating to Incoming goods inspection.
- Liaise with customers regarding issues relating to finished goods inspection, returns, and clarification of drawings and tolerances.
- Communicate quality procedures to sub-contractors and ensure compliance with our customer specifications.
- Audit the Quality process within Production, Stores and Order Processing and admin functions.
- Demonstrate measurable quality improvements.
