CK International are seeking a Part-Time HR Manager who will report to the Managing Director and manage the full employee lifecycle.
Job Overview
- Working Pattern: 3 days per week (flexible days considered, during Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu)
- Location: Dungannon Area
- Salary: Β£45,000 - Β£50,000 (pro-rata for 3 days)
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead the end-to-end hiring process for management, engineering and technical roles, from drafting job descriptions to conducting interviews and managing offers.
- Employee Relations: Act as the primary advisor for line managers on complex ER issues, including performance management, absence, and grievance procedures.
- Learning & Development: Identify technical and soft skill gaps within engineering teams and coordinate relevant training or CPD sessions.
- Compliance & Policy: Maintain and update the staff handbook and HR policies to ensure strict adherence to UK employment law and health and safety regulations.
- Payroll & Benefits: Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with external providers and oversee the administration of employee benefits and pension schemes.
- HR Systems (HRIS): Manage and maintain accurate employee records on systems like Access People HR or similar, ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Culture & Engagement: Drive initiatives that promote a positive company culture, including employee wellbeing programs and internal communications.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, ideally in a standalone or generalist role within an SME or engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 qualified (Associate Diploma in People Management) is typically required; Level 7 is preferred for senior-level strategic input.
- Legal Knowledge: Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, listening, and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel is often essential) and experience with HR management software.
