MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engineering Planning & Resource Coordination
- Support the development and maintenance of Engineering resource plans across all projects
- Monitor team capacity, utilisation and workload balancing
- Identify constraints, bottlenecks and potential delivery risks
- Highlight project delays or resource conflicts early and propose mitigation actions
- Assist with prioritisation of engineering tasks in line with business objectives
- Plan Optimisation & Analysis
- Analyse trends in engineering output, delivery performance and workload
- Review proposed plan changes and assess cause-and-effect impacts
- Provide scenario planning to evaluate alternative resource allocations
- Support optimisation of schedules to improve on-time delivery and efficiency
- Drive data-led decision making within Engineering leadership
- Reporting & Visualisation
- Develop clear, structured dashboards and reports for Engineering and Senior Management
- Present planning data in simple, actionable formats
- Provide weekly and monthly KPIs including:
- Capacity utilisation
- Project delivery status
- Workload trends
- Risk indicators
- Act as super-user/administrator for Engineering planning and project management systems (e.g. Click-Up)
- Develop and improve existing company systems, workflows and reporting tools
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and governance
- Supporting automation and digitalisation of manual processes
- Drive CI to enhance efficiency
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in planning, coordination, reporting or analytical support roles
- High level of IT literacy (Excel, data analysis, reporting tools)
- Familiarity with project management or scheduling software (e.g. Click-Up or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Methodical, organised and process-driven mindset
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience supporting Engineering, Manufacturing or Technical teams
- Experience with Power BI or similar dashboard tools
