Vickerstock are partnering our Food Manufacturing Client based in Lisburn Co. Down with the appointment of a Production Supervisor for their expanding facility. As Production Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate operations to deliver safe, high-quality products on time and to plan. You will drive performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity, ensuring full compliance with GMP, food safety and company standards, while developing and motivating high-performing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your Day to Day:

  • Deliver the daily production plan in line with Head of Production requirements.
  • Lead shift start-ups, daily check-ins and contribute to weekly operations meetings.
  • Coordinate labour, materials and workflow to maintain continuity across departments.
  • Monitor production performance, escalating risks and resolving issues proactively.
  • Lead, motivate and manage production teams to achieve operational targets.
  • Ensure effective staffing levels, performance management and on-the-job supervision.
  • Support training, skills development and competency sign-offs; maintain skills matrices.
  • Champion health & safety, food safety and hygiene standards across all operations.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, Safe Working Procedures and company policies.
  • Identify waste, inefficiencies and quality risks, driving practical improvement actions.
  • Carry out root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective measures.
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes, standards and overall operational performance.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can make sound operational decisions, lead from the front and consistently deliver results in a high-volume food manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a Food Manufacturing/Food Safety environment
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Highly driven, ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety and operational compliance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
