Position: Despatch/Weighbridge Operative Location: McQuillan Quarries, Dromore Responsible to: Transport Manager Contract type: Full-time, permanent Salary: Competitive Working hours: Monday to Friday (06:00 to 16:30) including overtime at the weekends (on rota basis) Why work for McQuillan Companies? With materials testing labs at both depots, we ensure the supply of quality products that meet British and European standards.

The successful candidate will report to the Transport Manager and must be hardworking, reliable, and possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Key responsibilities:

Liaising with customers regarding delivery dates, times and directions to site; Receiving and processing customer orders for aggregates and bituminous products; Liaising with Transport Management to ensure efficient utilisation of lorries; Handling sales enquiries; Dealing with enquiries effectively and efficiently; Providing after sales support.

Essential Criteria: English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above Ability to multitask, prioritise and plan to meet tight deadlines to achieve required targets Attention to detail Competent levels of computer literacy Good at information seeking and handling Organisational & time management skills Strong communication and relationship building skills Desirable criteria: Have a good knowledge of the construction industry. Due to the location of the Quarry a full driving licence and own transport is essential.
