Experienced Car Valeter / Detailer Wanted

Location: Crossgar, County Down

Job Type: Full-Time (Permanent)

Salary: Competitive Based on Experience

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays

About Us: At Bells Crossgar Motors we're known for offering high-quality used vehicles, presented to the highest standards. We're now looking to expand our team with an experienced Car Valeter / Detailer who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of first impressions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in vehicle preparation and detailing, who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out full interior and exterior valets to a high standard.
  • Machine polishing, waxing, and paintwork enhancement.
  • Interior shampooing, leather cleaning, and fabric protection.
  • Applying finishing touches for showroom-ready presentation.
  • Identifying and reporting damage or defects.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the valeting bay and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in valeting/detailing is essential (minimum 3 years preferred).
  • Previous experience in using Machine Polishers / Buffing.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently under time constraints.
  • Good understanding of valeting products and tools.
  • Full UK driving licence (manual) required.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
