This role is initially being recruited to assist with an increase in workload and will have the opportunity to become a permanent post. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and collecting debt for UK and Irish entities, ensuring that credit control policies are effectively implemented and maintained. You will manage the credit and collections process for the company, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices and minimising bad debt. Interviewing immediately. The Ideal Person If you are a Credit Controller and are keen to take the next step in your career by joining a market leader: 3+ years\’ experience within credit control function Experience of managing time effectively Available at short notice Responsibilities As a Credit Controller, you will: Daily bank reconciliations Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments. Chase outstanding debts via phone and email. Maintain accurate records of communication with customers. Review & approve subscription contracts based on credit checks and payment history. Resolve payment issues and handle customer queries related to invoices. Work with sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes affecting payment. Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and collections progress. Assist in month-end closing and reporting.
