Job Description

Reporting to the HR manager, your role as HR advisor will be to provide proactive, generalist HR support across all sites, ensuring alignment with company strategy, legal compliance, and best practice. As HR Advisor you will play a key role in supporting employee relations, advising managers, and contributing to the delivery of HR initiatives, including training and development activities, to ensure a consistent and effective, people-focused service across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of people strategy and HR KPIs (absence, retention, turnover).
  • Advise managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Manage ER cases, absence, and occupational health referrals.
  • Advise and lead TUPE transfers.
  • Ensure HR systems and data are accurate and compliant.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training compliance.
  • Promote diversity, engagement, and well-being initiatives.
  • Collaborate on resource planning and community outreach.
  • Participate in HR projects and cross-site activities.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven HR advisory experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Experience with HR systems.
  • Organised, practical, and solution-focused.

Qualifications

  • CIPD qualification Level 5 (essential).
  • HR experience in a fast-paced industry (essential).
