We are delighted to be working alongside a leading engineering company to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer. Our client has grown from strength to strength over the past few years and is now looking to add to their design team due to company growth.

The role:

In this role you will work within multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts and customisation of existing products for customers across the globe. Ensuring delivery to cost, time, quality and adherence to regulations and suitability for manufacturing. As the Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the 3D design and will work closely with manufacturing, quality and production teams.

To be successful in this role:

  • The successful candidate will hold an engineering degree/relevant apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience working in an engineering design environment.
  • You will have design experience using 3D CAD software to produce 3D part and assembly models and drawings.
  • Previous experience with one of the design software packages such as AutoCAD, Pro E, Solidworks, Creo etc.
