Due to the award of several new contracts, we are hiring for our client, a leading construction company with a strong presence across the UK and Ireland. Our client is looking to recruit 2 experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to join their team, based in Mid Ulster. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company that delivers high-quality construction, property redevelopment, and refurbishment services.

The Role:

  • Analyse construction drawings and specifications to identify labour, material, and specialist requirements.
  • Prepare enquiry documents and source material and subcontractor quotations, including final negotiations and orders.
  • Regularly negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure project budgets are met.
  • Complete monthly subcontractor valuations through to final account and submit interim valuations and final accounts within agreed timescales.
  • Liaise with clients to agree on rates/variations and provide cost analysis.
  • Measure works as per contract-specific schedules of rates.

The Person:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
  • HND/HNC or equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 5+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying within a main contractor.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating initiative in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
