My client is seeking an experienced quality inspector to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a well-established business. The right candidate should have a proven track record of implementing quality standards and procedures.

Duties:

  • Implement and maintain QMS documentation and document control.
  • Implement effective QMS processes in conjunction with operating staff.
  • Maintain QMS processes such as audits (internal and external), supplier qualification, change control, non-conforming product and corrective and preventive action systems.
  • Compile, assess and monitor ongoing quality tracking metrics to help drive efficiency and continual improvement.
  • Schedule and carry out routine quality control tests/checks.
  • Carry out internal inspections at all stages of WIP & Finished goods to customer specifications.
  • Training staff in new and existing quality procedures, including Induction and Corrective Action training.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding issues relating to Incoming goods inspection.
  • Liaise with customers regarding issues relating to finished goods inspection, returns, and clarification of drawings and tolerances.
  • Communicate quality procedures to sub-contractors and ensure compliance to our customer specifications.
  • Auditing of Quality process within Production, Stores and Order Processing and admin functions.
  • Demonstrate measurable quality improvements.
