As a full-time electric motor rewind engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our motor rewind team. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to the success of our organisation. You will deliver rewinds for a broad range of electric motors and ensure they are of the highest quality. The role is based in Cookstown, Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repairing, rewinding, and refurbishing of Electric Motors, Submersible Pumps, and Alternators in both AC and DC Design.
  • Some mechanical refurbishments may be required such as machining/welding and the repair of gearboxes.
  • Inspection of electric motors for damage and malfunctions.
  • Dismantle and strip back different types of electric motors ranging from small to large and test them appropriately to find the correct fault.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred electric motor winding experience, with good machining, lathing, and welding skills would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Experience in Ex (Explosion proof) and High Voltage motor repair is not essential but would be an advantage.
Working Hours: 42 Hours Per Week Monday to Friday with Weekend Opportunities.
