Bela Recruitment is recruiting an Area Sales Manager to cover England/UK. The company is an established manufacturing business that makes large waste recycling plants used by county councils and major recycling companies across the UK, Ireland, and EU. You will be selling plants worth anything from £2 million to £10 million. You should be earning £100,000+ once you have built your name in this space.
The company has a strong network of existing customers and a reputation for building excellent waste plants.
Responsibilities- Source & secure new business across the UK.
- Identify key potential customers, arrange meetings to visit and analyse needs.
- Work with internal designers to secure business on a technical basis.
- Submit winning proposals, quotations and tenders, on time and in a professional manner to secure business.
- Update the company on activity, potential pipeline and opportunities.
- Attend relevant trade shows, events, exhibitions and be a known point of contact for all customers.
- Must have previous experience selling large, capital equipment into commercial environments such as Crushing, Screening, Concrete Batching Plants, Waste Recycling Plants, Conveyor Systems or equipment used in factories, such as food processing, cranes or larger systems.
- Proven experience understanding technical needs & building technical quotations to meet client expectations.
- Must be self-motivated, have a can-do attitude and strong sales & account management ability.
- This role would best suit a sales professional seeking to earn significant earnings.
- Must be willing and able to conduct regular travel for work across the UK, typically 4-5 days at a time, with the potential of travelling every other week.
