Plumbmaster are a leading specialist within the plumbing & heating division of Haldane Fisher. We offer a dedicated service to the plumbing & heating industry, with specialized trade counters and staff who aim to provide unrivalled levels of customer service. We wish to recruit a motivated individual to work as a Warehouse Operative within our Plumbmaster division in our Coleraine Branch. This is an exciting career opportunity offering an excellent working environment in one of the fastest growing independent plumbing and heating merchants in Northern Ireland.

Key responsibilities for the role of Warehouse Operative include:

  • Loading and off-loading of goods and ensuring goods advice notes are accurate
  • To ensure that all deliveries to customers and other branches are accurate and sent out in a timely manner
  • Advise the Branch Manager on any issues with stock in terms of levels and quality
  • Participate in annual stock takes & weekly rolling stock counts
  • Ensure all Company procedures are carried out within the department in relation to the return and receipting of goods
  • To ensure that all deliveries are accompanied by the appropriate paperwork
  • To ensure that every effort is made to secure the health and safety of both oneself and those affected by your acts or omissions

  • Have experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Hold a forklift license
  • Can preferably demonstrate knowledge of general plumbing and heating products
  • Have strong customer service & communication skills
  • Have the ability to develop a positive working relationship with customers
  • Have the ability to deal with customers issues/problems in a professional manner
