About you
- Degree in Building Studies or equivalent (or relevant equivalent qualification) with at least 1 year of experience, or BTEC Higher Diploma in Building Studies (or equivalent) with 2 years' experience, or Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience working on domestic properties' design, maintenance or improvement projects
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of property inspections, maintenance standards, and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What you'll do
- Conduct property inspections according to a set timetable to assess maintenance needs and authorise contractors' work
- Oversee and monitor the quality of maintenance works to ensure standards are met
- Communicate effectively with tenants regarding maintenance policies, work progress, and responsibilities
- Identify and report deficiencies in service delivery to expedite remedial actions
- Liaise with housing staff to coordinate re-let preparations after tenancy changes
