Purpose The key purpose of the role of Warehouse Operative is to assemble customer orders, ensuring they are accurate and correct.

Responsibilities To assemble orders accurately and in a timely manner To maintain a minimum assembly rate of 95 cases per hour To shrink wrap each pallet as its being assembled To label / identify each pallet correctly To clean up any breakages / damages and fill in breakages book To ensure that all work complies with health and safety procedures Any other duties relevant and related to the post You may also be required to act as a Helper on lorries where you would assist the delivery driver to deliver goods to customers of Mc Cabes in an efficient and courteous manner, checking all goods onto the premises and ensuring the completion of all paperwork.

Qualifications Desirable Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, demonstrating good literacy and numeric skills Skills and Experience Essential Must be able to work in a quick and efficient manner Desirable Fork Lift License HGV License 6 months experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Main Points of Contact Supervisors Warehouse Manager Other store personnel Forklift / counterbalance drivers Other Relevant Information Casual Hours of work - None Guaranteed per week.
