Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - no weekend shifts Location: Based full-time in the Belfast headquarters Contract Type: Permanent Package: Highly attractive and fully negotiable, including a comprehensive benefits suite Role Introduction Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you\'ll play a key role in the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services for general building and M&E maintenance projects. Working closely with project teams and suppliers, you\'ll support the delivery of high-quality, sustainable solutions. Key Responsibilities Procurement Source and procure materials and services for M&E projects, ensuring best value and quality Negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines Maintain strong supplier relationships and onboard new vendors as needed Order Management Raise and manage purchase orders aligned with project needs Track deliveries to ensure timely and accurate supply Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing Cost Control Support teams in staying within procurement budgets Conduct market research and pricing analysis Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality Collaboration & Communication Work with quantity surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure material requirements are met Provide updates on supplier performance and market trends Compliance & Reporting Ensure procurement aligns with company policies and industry regulations Maintain clear, accurate procurement records, including contracts and invoices Candidate Profile Demonstrable experience in a buying or procurement role within the mechanical and electrical or engineering sectors. Track record of managing supplier relationships. Experience sourcing materials and services within budget and timeline constraints.
