Established in 1985, the Company has grown in terms of activities, people, and locations to the point where we now have a range of activities including property rental, business start-up support, recruitment, employability programmes, recreation, and childcare. They are currently seeking to appoint a Business Advisorto provide a range of business advice, mentoring and training to individuals in the process of starting their business and existing businesses looking to develop and growth their business. Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Help navigate clients through various stages of their entrepreneurial journey, from startup through to developing and growing their business. Support clients in areas including market research, business planning, financial management, marketing and other general business challenges. Maintain accurate records,ensuring the accuracy and completion of all administration on variousManagement Information Systems on an ongoing basis. Provide accurate statistical reports and management information in a timely manner to assist with the monitoring and evaluation of enterprise programmes such as Go Succeed. Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained through follow up contact with clients and other stakeholders. Carry out various marketing activities to promote and market the range of services provided by The Company. Develop and sustain effective working relationships within other Business Advisors and other stakeholder groups e.g. Enterprise NI and Mid Ulster District Council. Be quality and target driven, ensuring all Funders targets/standards are achieved and consistently achieve agreed individual objectives, targets and K.P.I.s. Deliver training and workshops based on identified needs of clients. Undertake CPD activities which enhance individual and organisational performance, maintaining/developing relevant skills to the highest professional standards. Undertake regular, formal reviews with the line manager, reflecting on targets, performance and practice. Any other reasonable duties as required by management and/or the business objectives. Essential Criteria: Qualification in Business Studies or related area or at least 3 years experience in self-employed capacity. Minimum of 2 years industry/business experience working within customer service or client facing role. A demonstrable track record of consistently having met and exceeded targets over a reasonable period of time. Experience in writing up reports or business proposals. Experience in the delivery of presentations or training. Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand the various issues facing entrepreneurs at start up stage. Knowledge and understanding of local business marketplace. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes or ability to demonstrate alternative method of being able to fulfil any travel related duties of the role.
