Looking for a hands-on role with variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to be part of a busy warehouse operation? We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join our team. This role involves occasional (1-2 per month) early starts and late home deliveries across Ireland, including handling heavy and bulky equipment.

Location: Belfast

Pay Rate: £13.73 per hour

Duration: Temporary to permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:15am to 4:30pm

In this varied role, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting goods coming in and out of the warehouse (strong attention to detail required)
  • Picking, assembling, and packing orders accurately
  • Labelling goods correctly
  • Inputting consignments onto carriers' websites
  • Acting as relief driver for multi-drop deliveries (3.5t van)
  • Conducting stock checks and stock taking
  • Completing daily and monthly warehouse checks
  • Assembling flat-packed equipment
  • Maintaining daily housekeeping standards
  • Adhering to company Health & Safety procedures
  • Carrying out any other duties as required

Essential:

  • Applicants must be aged 25 or over for vehicle insurance purposes
  • Full licence to drive a 3.5t van
  • Valid Counterbalance licence
  • Good IT skills (Excel, Word, scanning to Business Central accounting system)
  • Accurate data input and output skills (Business Central experience desirable)
  • Manual handling capability
  • Flexibility with working hours when required

Desirable:

  • ADR (Hazardous Chemical Transport) certification
