The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day operations across stock control, goods movement, and team management. You'll be accountable for ensuring optimal warehouse performance, safe working practices, and the effective flow of materials to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead warehouse operations, including inventory control, goods-in/out, and team management.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and implement efficient storage and dispatch processes.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs, ensuring consistent adherence across all warehouse activities.
  • Optimise layout, space utilisation, and material flow to maintain safe and efficient operations.
  • Manage inventory control, including cycle counts and variance resolution with corrective actions.
  • Verify all dispatches for accuracy and compliance, aligning with transport plans.
  • Oversee goods receipt, booking-in, and internal stock movements with accurate system recording.
  • Lead and supervise warehouse operatives, maintaining floor presence and clear standards.
  • Support team capability through clear roles, expectations, and performance oversight.
  • Implement and embed new processes and systems consistently across the team.
  • Drive continuous improvement and 5S to enhance efficiency and control.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and team supervision.
  • In-depth knowledge of key warehouse processes, including goods receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch.
  • Skilled in inventory management and stock control procedures.
  • High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to implement and maintain structured, process-led workflows.
  • Confident in leading, motivating, and directing operational teams.
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, shop-floor environment.
  • Effective in fast-paced settings with tight deadlines.
