Randstad has an opportunity available for a Trainer assessor in Manufacturing / Aircraft fitting to work as part of the team in Belfast Metropolitan College. The ideal candidate will be able to provide a high quality instruction and technical training delivery within a specific area of responsibility to achieve learner success.

Requirements

  • Two years' post Apprenticeship experience in Aerospace industry OR Four years industry experience
  • Applicants must possess an appropriate NVQ 3 in Engineering or equivalent
  • English GCSE (Grade C or above) OR Equivalent
  • Maths GCSE (Grade C or above) OR Equivalent
  • Enhanced vetting is required for this role including an enhanced Access NI check

Responsibilities

  • Produce schemes of work and lessons plans
  • Deliver teaching in relevant courses
  • Set and grade assignment work
  • Maintenance of student records, class registers and preparation of reports
  • To ensure all training and assessment materials used are of the highest quality and are appropriate to support training and assessment
  • To use a range of assessment methods relevant to the training, trainee and the training environment
