Your new company: You will be working for a long-established and highly respected retailer who employs over 8,000 staff across the UK. Locally, they operate dealerships across Northern Ireland representing major manufacturer brands in the automotive industry. They have had significant growth over the past 3 years and boast a very healthy turnover.

Your new role: You will be essential in ensuring the stability of all IT infrastructure and components. You will be responsible for monitoring and management of the IT server estate and local / wide area networks. You will have ownership of IT infrastructure documentation, projects, operational processes and controls. You will have a commitment to the continued advancement of the IT function through effective and relevant knowledge sharing and team training.

What you'll need to succeed: The ideal candidate for this role will have a comprehensive understanding of multiple Microsoft platforms and a strong knowledge of Storage Area Networks and backup systems. You will demonstrate a detailed understanding of VMware ESXi and be competent in configuration / maintenance of Cisco network equipment with the ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve complex LAN / WAN / WLAN issues.
