Artemis Human Capital is recruiting for a Construction Litigation solicitor to join a growing disputes practice. This role would suit a solicitor keen to develop or deepen a specialism in contentious construction matters while continuing to work on high-quality, complex disputes. The team acts on significant construction disputes, offering commercially focused, strategic advice to clients across the construction and infrastructure sectors.

The Role

  • Youll be involved in contested construction matters including defects claims, delay disputes and adjudications, working closely with experienced partners and the wider commercial litigation team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on contentious construction disputes
  • Handling claims relating to defects, delays and contractual issues
  • Drafting pleadings, adjudication documents and correspondence
  • Managing settlement negotiations, mediation and ADR
  • Liaising with counsel, experts and other professionals
  • Supporting senior lawyers on complex or high-value matters
  • Assisting with client development and sector-focused initiatives

About You

  • Qualified solicitor with 26 years PQE
  • Experience in construction litigation or contentious construction work
  • Exposure to adjudication and/or ADR preferred
  • Strong drafting, advocacy and analytical skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client work
  • Interest in building a long-term construction disputes specialism
