Your new company Hays are working with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service to recruit a temporary Service Administrator. Your new role As a Service Delivery Administrator, you will provide a high-quality, customer-focused administrative service to support operational and business functions. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will be at the heart of the team, ensuring key processes run. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing diaries, coordinating meetings and providing minute-taking support
- Maintaining electronic and paper records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- Acting as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting financial processes including procurement, expenses and stock control
- Updating systems (including staff rotas, leave and operational data)
- Preparing reports, presentations and official documentation
- Supporting HR-related administration such as attendance management and personnel records
- Assisting with project work and continuous improvement of administrative processes
This role requires excellent organisation and the ability to prioritise competing demands in a busy environment.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience working in a fast-paced administrative or business support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and internal systems
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
You will ideally have a relevant qualification (e.g. Business Administration) or equivalent experience, along with a proven track record in delivering high-quality administrative support.
